Vanna White has inked a two-year contract extension to continue her role as co-host on the syndicated game show “Wheel of Fortune” through the 2025-26 season.
This extension means that she will remain with the show for two years after the retirement of Pat Sajak.
In June, Pat Sajak, who had been the host of “Wheel of Fortune” for four decades, announced his retirement as the host, effective at the end of the 2023-24 season.
Shortly after his announcement, Ryan Seacrest was named as his successor, and he is set to take over hosting duties in the fall of 2024.
Vanna White and Pat Sajak have been the iconic hosting duo of “Wheel of Fortune” since its debut in 1983, making them the longest-running game show hosts in American television history.
Additionally, Alex Van Wagner has taken over as the director of “Wheel of Fortune” following the retirement of longtime director Robert Ennis.
Ennis had worked on the show as both director and technical director since 1992. Alex Van Wagner’s previous credits include directing popular shows like “The Masked Singer,” “Holey Moley,” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
